The first-ever Homeschool Workshop (that I'm offering) is coming in 2020!
Where: Lafayette Library
When: January 18th from 3:30-5PM
Title: Celebrating Beginnings with Storytelling and Deep Listening
Homeschooling is filled with beginnings! Things that feel big: beginning homeschool; beginning a new co-op; beginning adolescence; beginning college. Things that feel small: beginning a new routine; a new curriculum; a new friendship. And sometimes the thought...
...I don’t even know where to begin.
What if you could benefit from other people’s beginnings? That is where the Homeschool Workshop series begins.
Because courage lies at the heart of every beginning, we will focus on nurturing our courage by nurturing our hearts through storytelling and deep listening. Come to share your story, to practice deep listening, and to hear other people’s stories.
Before you leave, you will have an idea about how/where/when to begin your next homeschool venture. You will have considered deeply how storytelling and deep listening can support you as well as your child. And, if that wasn’t enough, you will find the comfort and confidence that comes with sharing space and ideas with educational allies.
Cost: $10 per person
Tickets: For sale at BocoLearning.com in January.
Space will be limited. So sign up below to stay informed and to get an email invitation (and 24-hour head start) when registration opens.
